Why waste time and money shopping for individual clubs? Spend it on the course, instead. Stix golf club sets come with flex and length options, so you can customize the entire kit to your build and game easily and affordably.
Just because your game is changing doesn’t mean you have to accept higher scores. Stix clubs are designed to help you keep improving your game, whatever your age.
New in 2021, Stix club sets now come in a senior flex. For golfers aged 50+, a softer flex can have a significant impact on your performance.
Club weight matters for senior golfers, too. You’ll notice a significant difference in your swing speed when you shift from heavier clubs to Stix graphite shaft clubs. (Including irons with 64-gram ultra-light high-elastic graphite shafts).
Every golfer wants to be more precise, and seniors are no exception. We’ve designed Stix clubs with larger sweet spots for more consistent accuracy.
Compare Stix clubs to the brands traditionally considered best for seniors. You’ll find golfers of all abilities and experience levels say Stix clubs outperform the rest.

QUESTIONS SENIOR GOLFERS ASK BEFORE BUYING STIX CLUBS
-
Stix clubs are for golfers of all ages and abilities, from beginner to intermediate.
If you appreciate quality, performance, and design at an affordable price, Stix clubs are for you. And because Stix clubs come in three different flexes, we get rave reviews from players in their 20s through to players 70+.

Senior golfers, just like any other age range, have widely different needs in golf clubs. You’re not just a senior golfer. You’re a senior golfer with a specific swing speed and height.
That’s why all Stix club sets can be configured by height and flex. You can choose stiff, regular, or “A flex” (aka “senior flex”).
Instead of paying a premium to fill your bag with separate clubs in the flex that’s right for you, with Stix, you can get a complete set all in one flex.
A few other features make these clubs great for seniors — and any player shy of professional.
The graphite shafts are solid but lightweight so that you can pick up speed and distance with less effort. Graphite shafts also enhance control, stability and minimize vibration on impact. Plus, all Stix heads are designed to improve your precision.
You can review the detailed specs on each golf set page if you already know a thing or two about golf clubs. And if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.

Stix offers three flex options so that no matter your experience level and strength, you can find the perfect fit with our clubs.
The right club flex for you depends on your swing speed.
Not to get too technical, but the more flexible the club shaft, the more it compensates for slower swing speeds (it’s more forgiving). The stiffer the club shaft, the more exact the ball trajectory is to a golfer's swing.
If you know your swing speed, use this guideline to choose your flex:
Stiff Flex: 84-104 MPH
Regular Flex: 76-96 MPH
A-flex (seniors / ladies): 75 and under MPHYou might not know your speed right now, or it might vary quite a bit from shot to shot. If you haven’t golfed in some time, your speed may have changed.
For senior golfers, most pros recommend you choose one flex softer than what you’ve been playing with until you noticed a change in your swing speed. If you’ve been playing with a stiff flex, try regular flex. If you’re golfing with regular flex but your swing is down, shift to senior flex (A flex).
If you choose the wrong flex, don’t worry. The 30-Day Trial gives you 30 days from receipt of the clubs to determine if they are the right fit for you. As long as you contact us and get the clubs in the mail within 30 days, we can exchange them for clubs with different flexibility or length.

Just because you’re 50+ (technically, a senior golfer in pro terms) doesn’t mean you need a senior flex.
However, if you’ve been playing with a stiffer flex and struggling with distance and control, we do recommend you try a softer shaft.
With more flex, you can hit the ball farther and straighter, more consistently. Senior shafts also offer more stability.
Not sure senior flex is right for you? Try out any set for 30 days, risk-free. Take them to the driving range or the course. Then decide. If the senior flex isn’t right for you, switch it up.

In a word, yes. The quality and performance of Stix clubs compare favorably with clubs that cost 2-3x as much. Skim the reviews, and you’ll find happy Stix customers who prefer our clubs to Ping, Nike, TaylorMade.
The fact is, there’s a lot of waste and markup in bringing most big-name golf brands to market.
We’ve kept the high-end materials and tech that meaningfully improves your game. And we dropped the unnecessary frills, like features designed to give high-level players incremental advantages.
And we’ve cut out the high costs of inefficiencies. For example, we only sell online, and we don’t carry a ton of inventory. That means we can pass the savings on to you.
Keep that extra cash in your pocket for more rounds on the course.

Occasionally, you can find a used set of high-quality golf clubs with the proper flex, weight, and length for your game. But often, the design is outdated. They feel clunkier, and you can’t play at your best.
If you don’t love your used set, it’s unlikely you can get your money back. With Stix, you can try out any of our sets for 30 days and then decide.
Plenty of our customers say in reviews that their game changed when they upgraded from quality used clubs to Stix.
-
You can find senior golf sets from big box stores at bargain-basement prices, but you sacrifice quality.
With poor quality senior golf club sets, there’s the risk that you’ll get frustrated and play less often. Or, you’ll need to upgrade quickly, in which case you’ll spend twice on clubs when you could spend once with Stix.
If you can invest a little more (but far less than most premium clubs), you can get a set of Stix senior flex clubs that you’ll be thrilled to use for years to come.
-
Most of us will get more golf games in when we’re 50+ than at any other age. If you’re a senior golfer who’s retired, you may have time to advance your game and make use of all 14 clubs.
What if you’re a senior who’s new to golf and not sure how much you’ll play? A 9-piece or 11-piece set of Stix clubs might be all you need.

Every golfer's build is different. However, your height generally determines how long your clubs should be. Here are the guidelines:
Standard length is built for golfers typically between 5’7” and 6’2”
-.5” length clubs generally fit those between 5’4” and 5’7”
-1” length clubs are recommended for players between 5’0” and 5’4”
+.5” length clubs generally fit those between 6’2” and 6’4”
+1” length clubs generally fit those between 6’4” and 6’7”Technically, the length of your club should be based on the measurement from your wrist to the floor when you're in your golf stance.
What if your height falls on the border of two lengths? It's best to go with the longer length of the two options. For example, if you are 5’4”, choose -.5” length clubs. It's easier to use clubs that are a touch too long than clubs that are too short.
But don’t worry too much about club length. With the 30-Day Trial, you can try Stix clubs out risk-free. If you need to exchange for a different length, just contact us and get the clubs in the mail within 30 days.
Need a custom length? Send an email to orders@stix.golf, and we’ll walk you through the options.

At Stix, we’re not fans of the ‘pink it and shrink it’ approach to women’s clubs. Just because you’re a woman doesn’t mean you need smaller, pinker clubs.
Our designs are universal, and plenty of Stix senior ladies love the sleek look of our all-black, minimalist clubs.
Most senior ladies will prefer the A flex clubs, but see our guidelines above on choosing.
