Stix up-to-the-minute club design makes maximum style, quality, and performance accessible for every golfer.
Even if you’re humbled by the game, with Stix, you’ll feel proud of the clubs you carry.
Regularly described as “the coolest clubs I’ve seen” by players of all abilities, Stix features clean lines and all-black finishes. There’s no clutter or noise — just sleek modern minimalism.
Stix clubs are confidence boosters. And when you look better, you play better - no matter how new you are to the game.
Stix makes premium quality clubs for beginners and intermediate players on par with the clubs advanced players use.
Titanium, stainless steel, and graphite are strong but lightweight, so you can swing faster and hit farther.
New in 2021, all Stix irons and wedges now feature an improved durable finish for scratch resistance. Your clubs will continue to look like they cost 3x the price, game after game.
With Stix, you can get kitted out with a premium 14-piece, 11-piece, or 9-piece golf club set and a bag for less than half the price of big brands.
By selling clubs direct-to-consumer, Stix brings you great golf technology, top-quality materials, and precision finishes for exceptional value.
Just say no to hitting the course with a set that screams “beginner clubs”. Big box starter sets may be affordably priced, but they cut corners on quality, performance, and design.
Our goal in making Stix clubs is to keep the price fair, without compromise. Stix premium materials, performance engineering, and sleek design are far beyond what you’ll find with bargain-priced starter sets.
The result? Slick, streamlined clubs that are a joy to swing — and make you feel more confident out on the course.
“I’ve had these clubs for about 6 months now and they are awesome.
These clubs have improved my game and gotten me out on the course way more often. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on these clubs and I never hesitate to recommend them to friends and family (I also got my brother to buy a set) I was hesitant at first but have now recommended them to a ton of people in the same boat. In addition, the customer service is killer! Keep doing what you’re doing #teamstix”
“I have been playing on my beginner set for 9 years now and had been really wanting to upgrade my clubs, but had no desire to spend thousands on clubs when I’m just a weekend warrior. I found stix on instagram and loved the price point. Played 3 rounds with my new clubs and they fit my game perfectly, and they look fantastic out on the course. Highly recommend for all level of golfers”
“I’ve always used hand me downs and wanted a nice set but didn’t want to spend $ for a part time hobby. Found these but kept looking at bigger named brands and always found myself coming back to this site. Just couldn’t justify the money for something I truly don’t know much about. Decided to take a chance on these and I’m stoked I did. They look great and play great. I still had all the issues I have with every club (because I suck at golf) but these clubs seemed very forgiving. When I had a good shot it turned into a great shot.”
“Finally got the chance to play with these clubs, and I just love they way they feel! Super light compared to the first set I owned. I was close to buying a set of 1200 dollar irons, but I’m so glad I just picked up the 12-club set from stix! I’m very new to golf, but from the few times I’ve played I can definitely notice a difference with these clubs compared to my last.”
With Stix, there’s no messing around shopping for individual clubs — it’s just not needed. Each set comes with flex and length options, so you can customize the entire kit to your build and game. The only tough question is, how many clubs will you get?
“I'm a relatively new golfer (about a year into it). I bought a starter set and ran with that for a while. Then I bought a nice driver. Then I bought this Stix set.
The clubs look really nice, which was what drew me to them originally (nice IG ads, btw). I took them out to the range last weekend and I'm really impressed with how they hit. I felt more control in the swing and none of the wonky stuff that I would see with my starter clubs… Exactly as advertised.”
“I am absolutely in love with these clubs. After seeing stix on one of my social media’s I was waiting until Rick Shiels gave them the green light for beginners like myself. They are lighter in weight than my hand me downs giving me better swing speed and longer distance. They are beautiful in appearance and I am constantly getting asked about them. Cannot wait to play more courses with these.”
“I’m a pretty beginner player and they are easy to hit far and pretty straight!”
“This is the first set of new clubs I have ever purchased...I love the look of the club's...super sexy in all black. Have not had issues yet with losing shine. All black design is super cool. I have picked up a good 10 to 15 yards on all of my drives with driver and irons. Overall very happy and the price was very good in comparison to other sets.”
“I'm still figuring out this game and have been using a hand me down set for a long time. It feels much better to keep learning with these slick looking Stix!”
“I’m definitely a casual golfer and new to the sport so these were exactly what I was looking for. I really like the consistency of feel across the board that all the clubs in my set have the same style grip, balance, club face and flex. Very helpful for someone who is trying to minimize variables and improve.”
“After going from 15-year old hand me downs to these, it is a night and day difference. Being a casual golfer these clubs are super forgiving and the coolest looking clubs I've seen. I love how the people at Stix didn't try to re-invent the wheel at an affordable price, best purchase I've made in a while!”
“I ordered Stix based on youtube reviews by GM Golf and Rick Shiels. I recently started playing again after a layoff of 15 years. My previous set was Honma and the technology was antiquated. After hitting balls on the range and playing twice with this set, I can tell you they feel great… The Irons are good looking and easy to hit. The driver and fairway metals feel premium. My favorite from the set is the Putter, well balanced with a soft feel. Really pleased with Stix.”
With beautifully designed golf clubs that are a joy to swing, you’ll be on the course every chance you get.
And learning on Stix clubs is easier. Every club in the set is designed to compensate for beginners.
Golf pros approve of Stix, too.
Because with Stix, you can learn the game with clubs that are easy to configure and highly forgiving — but sophisticated enough to keep up as you progress.
Call them entry-level clubs, if you will. Call them starter golf clubs. But these are the sleek, high-performance clubs you’ll still love when you’re breaking 80.
QUESTIONS BEGINNER GOLFERS ASK BEFORE BUYING STIX CLUBS
Stix aren’t specifically for beginners. They’re for everyone.
In fact, they’re the clubs we designed for our own use after 20 years of golfing (albeit, casually). We wanted a quality set that would last and grow with our games.
So, we designed Stix clubs to be configured for any experience, ability and strength level. Whether you’re getting into the game for the first time, getting back into the game, or just getting serious, Stix has the clubs you need to look good and play better.
Stix clubs are designed for maximum forgiveness with beginner and intermediate players’ games in mind.
Across the club sets, the graphite shafts are strong but lightweight, so you can swing faster — even when you’re just getting into the swing of the game.
The heads are designed to enhance control and precision.
You can review the detailed specs on each kit page. But we won’t overwhelm you with the jargon. Too many would-be-golfers get stuck wading through technical features designed for high-level players. For beginners, extreme golf tech won’t make a difference in your game. It only wastes your money.
We keep it simple and focus on the tech that makes a difference for the rest of us — beginners and casual players who just want to play our best, from day one.
Premium golf clubs can add up to well over $2k, all in. That steep price keeps too many beginners from getting into the game with clubs they love.
But it doesn’t cost $2k to get a quality, well-designed set of clubs into your hands. (We know, because we’ve done it for far less.)
Stix is for those who want the quality of premium clubs without paying the premium price.
We’ve kept the high-end materials and design elements that meaningfully improve your game. And we dropped the unnecessary frills, like technology designed to give high-level players minute advantages.
The truth is, premium clubs are also pricey because of the waste and markups in the process of getting clubs from the factory to your hands. We’ve worked hard to cut out the high costs of inefficiencies. For example, we only sell online and we don’t carry a ton of inventory. That means we can pass the savings on to you.
Many do. Most of us at Stix learned to golf with ancient hand-me-downs. And there will always be beginner golfers who can get by with a used set of high-quality golf clubs.
But finding great quality used clubs with the right flex and length can be a challenge. And often, the design is outdated, so they feel clunkier and you can’t play at your best.
We noticed a big difference when we started playing golf with Stix. But don’t just take it from us. Check out the reviews from the many happy customers who say their game changed when they upgraded from hand-me-downs to Stix.
You can get bargain basement golf clubs, for sure. The clubs that golf brands market as “beginner sets” are, as you’d expect, not great quality. With poorly designed, poorly made clubs, you can’t play your best. And there’s the risk that you’ll drop the game because it doesn’t feel good.
Or, if you stick with the beginner set and improve your game anyway, you’ll feel the itch to upgrade quickly. And then you’ll spend twice on clubs, when you could spend once with Stix.
If you can invest a little more (but far less than most premium clubs), you can get a set of Stix clubs that you’ll be thrilled to use for years to come.
Nine clubs is all a beginner really needs. Until you’re swinging faster, for example, you won’t notice a difference between every iron. That’s why we offer the Casual Set of 9 essential clubs.
If you’re ready to try your hand at a wider range of irons, the 11-piece Classic Set is for you.
With the 14-piece Complete Set, you’ll get every club permitted on course — and every club you’ll ever need.
If you’re a beginner, it’s a matter of choice. Invest in more clubs now, with the certainty that you’ll keep up the game, or play it by ear and grab more clubs as you go.
Stix offers three flex options so that no matter your experience level and strength, you can find the perfect fit with our clubs.
The right club flex for you depends on your swing speed. Of course, if you’re just starting out, you might not know your speed. And your speed might vary quite a bit from shot to shot.
Not to get too technical, but… The more flexible the club shaft, the more it compensates for slower swing speeds (it’s more forgiving). The stiffer the club shaft, the more exact the ball trajectory is to a golfer's swing.
If you know your swing speed, use this guideline to choose your flex:
Stiff Flex: 84-104 MPH
Regular Flex: 76-96 MPH
A-flex: 75 and under MPH
Beginner golfers typically do best with regular flex because it helps even out inconsistent swing speed. But some prefer to learn on stiff flex clubs.
If you choose the wrong flex, don’t worry. The 30-Day Trial gives you 30 days from receipt of the clubs to determine if they are the right fit for you. As long as you contact us and get the clubs in the mail within 30 days we can exchange them for clubs with different flexibility or length.
Every golfer's build is different but we've made it easier to choose the length by giving height guidelines.
Standard length is built for golfers typically between 5’7” and 6’2”
-.5” length clubs generally fit those between 5’4” and 5’7”
-1” length clubs are recommended for players between 5’0” and 5’4”
+.5” length clubs generally fit those between 6’2” and 6’4”
+1” length clubs generally fit those between 6’4” and 6’7”
Technically, the length of your club should be based on the measurement from your wrist to the floor when you're in your stance. This generally follows height parameters, which is why we share these guidelines.
What if your height falls on the border of two lengths? Generally, it's best to go with the longer length of the two options. For example, if you are 5’4”, choose -.5” length clubs. It's easier to use clubs that are a touch too long than clubs that are too short.
But don’t stress the question of club length. With the 30-Day Trial, you can try Stix clubs out risk-free. As long as you contact us and get the clubs in the mail within 30 days we can exchange them for clubs of a different length or flex.
Need a custom length? Send an email to email@example.com and we’ll walk you through the options.
At Stix, we’re not fans of the ‘pink it and shrink it’ philosophy to women’s clubs. Just because you’re a woman doesn’t mean you need smaller, pinker clubs.
Stix clubs are for everyone. We have clubs of various lengths and flexes to match the game of anyone who’s ready to get out there and enjoy the game.
We keep the estimated shipping time frame front and center on all product pages and throughout the purchase process.
In some cases, club sets are backordered — we’ll make that very clear, so there are no surprises. And of course, if you order custom clubs, we’ll need a bit more time to customize those for you.
We ship from our HQ just outside Chicago, Illinois. Once the clubs are in the mail to you, domestic orders will typically arrive within 7-10 days. International orders typically take 7-14 days. As soon as your clubs are in the mail we will send you a tracking number that you can obsess over until they arrive.
If you have questions about your order you can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
We stand behind all of our products and will correct any issues related to manufacturing and/or workmanship for 6 months. If you have an issue with any club purchased directly from Stix Golf Co., we will be happy to assist in correcting the situation by repairing or replacing your clubs. Please send all warranty inquiries to email@example.com.
Yes, you can. The 30-Day Trial begins the day you receive your clubs. Unwrap and golf with your Stix clubs on or off-course for 30 days, then decide. Learn more about our return policy here.
