What's different with Stix Perform Series? What's Play Series?

Our new Perform Series Set has larger and softer grips, frequency matched shafts and our strongest Driver yet 🦾 Additionally, our Perform Series 14 club set is now available in Steel! Our newest release, our Play Series 10 Club set, is the perfect set for those getting into the game, returning to the game, or finally upgrading from that hand me down set.

Perform Series Irons - What's new?

Our irons are built to the same specification and design as before. The main difference is now that the face grooves are cast instead of milled. While this sounds like a downgrade, because of manual grinding and polishing finishing methods, this allows us to more closely control the dimensions and contours of the grooves. Is milled better than cast? For irons, the only thing that matters is meeting critical dimensions and specifications for the face surface texture and shape and depth. Our advanced casting method allows us to do this without the need for milling.

Which shaft flex is best for my game?

Stix currenly offers Active, Regular & Stiff shaft flexes that are best paired to your swing speed. To best match your game, you can select "help me choose" when configuring your set on our product pages or our "find your fit" guide. Active Flex: Whether you’re brand new to golf or just have a naturally slower swing, Active Flex shafts could go a long way in improving your game. For those that drive the ball less than 200 yards, most juniors, women, and seniors benefit from this flex. Regular Flex: Regular Flex is for golfers who hit between 80 and 95 miles per hour with a carry distance of around 200-230 yards. If you’re a semi-regular golfer or approaching the intermediate stage, Regular Flex shafts are probably the perfect option for you. Stiff Flex: Stiff Flex shafts are usually recommended for taller golfers or those with swings over 95 miles per hour. If you don’t know your swing speed but can carry your drive over 230 yards, Stiff Flex is a great option. If you typically hit at a distance of 240-270 yards but lack accuracy, Stiff Flex could help dial your game in. We recommend Stiff for golfers of average to advanced skill levels.
